Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. This page explains how to cancel an order, return an item and get a refund. It applies to orders placed on carecureacupuncture.com, which are sold by Hwealth. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Changing your mind about an online order

  • You can cancel most online orders for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your order.

  • To cancel, email info@carecure.ie with your name and order number, or use the cancellation form at the bottom of this page.

  • Please send the item back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling, to: Care Cure, Unit 10, Merrion Shopping Centre, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 K6X8.

  • You pay the cost of returning the item. We recommend a tracked service, as the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.

  • Please take reasonable care of the item. If it has been handled more than you would need to in a shop to see what it is and how it works, we may reduce the refund to reflect that.

Your refund

  • We will refund you within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling. We may wait until we receive the item back, or until you send us proof that you have posted it, whichever is sooner.

  • Your refund includes the original standard delivery charge. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option, we refund the standard delivery amount only.

  • We refund using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to something else.

2. Items that cannot be returned once opened

For health and hygiene reasons, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to sealed items once the seal has been broken after delivery. This includes:

  • herbal remedies, teas, granules, pills, capsules and oral liquids

  • oils, liniments, balms and plasters

  • acupuncture needles, ear candles, foot patches and foot soaks

  • home test kits

If these items are still sealed and unopened, you can return them under section 1 as normal.

The 14-day right to cancel also does not apply to:

  • custom herbal formulas made up for you following a consultation, as they are made to your individual prescription

  • items that go off quickly, such as fresh juice drinks

3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as you can at info@carecure.ie, ideally with a photo. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 apply whether or not the item has been opened.

  • We will offer a repair, replacement or refund, in line with your legal rights.

  • We cover the cost of returning a faulty or incorrect item.

  • These rights are separate from, and in addition to, the 14-day right to cancel.

4. Gift cards and eGift cards

  • Our gift cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on your gift card email.

  • If you buy a gift card online and change your mind, you can cancel it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as it has not been used.

  • After that, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. You can use more than one gift card in the same purchase.

  • If you lose your gift card email, contact us and we will resend it.

5. Treatments, consultations and packages

  • Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged - see our Cancellation and No-Show Policy.

  • If you paid for a treatment or consultation in advance and cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, we will refund you in full or move the payment to a new appointment - your choice.

  • If you book online, you have 14 days from booking to cancel. If you ask us to start treatment within those 14 days and then cancel, we will charge for any treatment you have already had.

  • Treatment packages: if you decide not to finish a package, we will refund the unused sessions. Sessions already used are charged at the full single-session price, and the remaining balance is refunded.
