The allergy test is conducted by obtaining a strand of your hair and completing a basic form outlining potential symptoms. These are then sent to our labs for DNA analysis. It usually takes about 10-14 days to receive the results back. You will receive a breakdown of certain items that are being accepted or rejected by your body ranging from sensitive to moderate to allergic.

The test usually takes about 10 minutes. Once the test results are complete we offer a FREE consultation with one of our practitioners regarding the results, diet information, beneficial supplements and a full list of alternative food substitutes such as (spelt products for wheat sufferers) and where to purchase them.

While true allergies are relatively rare, a food intolerance can affect up to one in five adults at some point in their lives.

With an allergy the immune system perceives a normally harmless substance as a threat and responds immediately by delivering a surge of histamine. This can result in swelling of the lips and tongue, wheezing, difficulty breathing and in serious cases, anaphylactic shock.

A food intolerance or food sensitivity occurs when someone has difficulty digesting certain types of food. The response from the body is delayed which means symptoms may not appear for hours days and sometimes weeks after consuming the item. An intolerance can cause a number of complaints including itchy skin and rashes, nausea, bloating, IBS and migraine. Some people can be intolerant to a number of food types making the culprit of a particular symptom difficult to identify.
